Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- I accept the conditions of submission and the Petroleum Journals Online Copyright and License Agreement.

Copyright for articles published in this journal is retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal. Privacy Statement
Petroleum Journals Online publishes electronic journals and makes them freely available to the petroleum engineering community. Our mission is to support knowledge sharing among petroleum engineers around the world. The publications (such as the e-journal of petrophysics and the e-journal of reservoir engineering) cover key subjects on the principles and techniques for hydrocarbon exploitation.

1. What information does Petroleum Journals Online collect?

If you elect to join our newsletter we will send you notifications once about new our services and special offers. For your convenience, each announcement contains instructions on how to be removed from all future mailings. You may unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time and we do not make email addresses available to any third parties.

Our site uses ";cookies"; which are small pieces of information that your browser stores on your computer's hard drive.
