About the Journal
e-journal of production engineering is a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by Petroleum Journals Online.
Peer Review Process
All research and review articles in this journal are peer reviewed. Petroleum Journals Online uses online peer review to speed up the publication process. Our goal is to have your paper published within 2 to 3 months of initial submission. The time taken to reach a final decision depends on whether reviewers request revisions, and how quickly authors are able to respond.
Once accepted in principle, each article will be refereed in two ways, on the academic content by a known specialist in the relevant field (a second ''content'' referee may be called upon where the Editor deems it necessary).
Where an article is being published jointly with a print publisher, Petroleum Journals Online would expect a single mutually agreeable referee to be appointed for both. Petroleum Journals Online's own referees are not paid and should not be expected to have to comment on texts that have not been checked for spelling, lack complete references etc.
Once an article is accepted and peer reviewed, it is published in the current issue of the journal immediately in both fully browseable web form, and as a formatted PDF.
Please see the submission page for Author Guidelines.
You retain your copyright. We do not charge readers any access fees so papers are available to a wider audience.
e-journal of production engineering provides open access to all of its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Such access is associated with increased readership and increased citation of an author's work. For more information on this approach, see the Public Knowledge Project, which has designed this system to improve the scholarly and public quality of research, and which freely distributes the journal system as well as other software to support the open access publishing of scholarly resources.
Copyright for articles published in this journal is retained by the authors, with first publication rights granted to the journal. By virtue of their appearance in this open access journal, articles are free to use, with proper attribution, in educational and other non-commercial settings. Click here for further details.
